Geomar Martin

Geomar Marin is a patient advocate since 2019 with Motion Prosthetics. As he became an amputee in 2005 he has been dedicated to understand and assist people with disabilities.

Working in the O&P field, Geomar helps patients navigate through a complex before/after process of getting a prosthesis. Moreover, influenced patients by Geo’s reassurance, will achieve confidently their first steps of many that will come with time.

In addition to his experience as a prosthesis user, Geomar has shown interest in adaptive sports, being the first above the knee amputee to complete a 15 kilometer ultra-marathon in La Gran Sabana (Venezuela.)

In short, Geomar makes a good example of finding the way around obstacles, bringing out his quote “disability is the ability of the mind to limit itself.” Furthermore, Geo’s favorite hobby is to spend time, traveling, camping and having fun with his 2 daughters and wife.
